Wearing the right shoes

This winter has been woefully short on good snow here in southern Connecticut. Today we’re getting a reasonable dump so tomorrow there is a good chance we’re be able to get the snow shoes out for the first time this season. I got hooked on snow shoeing a few years ago, and as a variation to running it is a great workout. There is a down side though and that is having to invest in equipment that spends most of its life cluttering up your cupboards, but they are definitely worth having. We have Northern Lites which are light and have bindings that are incredibly easy to use. So fingers crossed the snow keeps falling for a few hours more - its going to be a great weekend!
